The biggest problem with invoicing in Nigeria is not creating the invoice — it is getting paid. Clients forget, misplace account details, or keep promising to pay "next week". A Paystack payment link in your invoice changes this. Your client opens the email, clicks the link, and pays in 30 seconds.
Why bank transfer invoices get ignored
When you send a PDF with "Please transfer to: GTB 0123456789", you are putting the work on your client. They have to open their banking app, type in your details, set the amount, and remember to do all of this. Most do not. The invoice sits in their inbox.
What a Paystack payment link invoice looks like
With ElorPra + Paystack, your invoice email includes a "Pay Now" button. Your client clicks it, arrives at a Paystack-powered payment page with the exact amount pre-filled, and pays by card, bank transfer, or USSD. You get a notification the moment they pay.
Creating an invoice with a payment link
In ElorPra: Finance → Invoices → New Invoice. Fill in the client details and line items. The system automatically generates a Paystack payment link and includes it in the invoice email. You can also copy the link and send it on WhatsApp.
What happens after payment
Paystack notifies ElorPra immediately when your client pays. The invoice status changes to "Paid" automatically. The payment appears in your cash balance. You can set up automated thank-you emails to the client.
Getting your Paystack account connected
Go to Settings → Integrations → Paystack and enter your Paystack secret key. You can find this in your Paystack dashboard under Settings → API Keys. Both test and live keys are supported. Use test keys during setup, then switch to live when ready.
